Ashish is one of the founding directors of City Fertility Centre. His principal private practice is based at Brisbane Private Hospital and he also consults on a regular basis at Chermside Medical Complex.
Ashish has built an enviable reputation and is highly regarded for his experience in IVF and fertility care and for his excellent rapport with patients. He is best known for his personalised and caring approach and his friendly nature.
Ashish has spent most of his life overseas since being born in India. He undertook his initial O&G training at Bristol in the UK. He immigrated to Australia and undertook O&G retraining with the RANZCOG and has now worked in Australia as an O&G for nearly 15 years. He is a naturalised Australian Citizen.
Prior to City Fertility Centre, he ran a busy private practice in IVF, Fertility and Gynaecology in Noosa. Ashish was awarded the Obstetrics and Gynaecology prize in his final year of MBBS. He is married and has two children.

Dr Julie Lindstrom graduated from Queensland University having obtained the Surgical Prize for Best Performance in Surgery in her final year. She went on to win the Brown Medal for Best Performance in the MRCOG exam. Dr Lindstrom set up private practice in 1997 and recently ceased obstetrics to allow her to focus on gynaecology and infertility. Dr Lindstrom has a special interest in endoscopic surgery for the treatment of endometriosis and also in the use of IVF to overcome infertility in couples unable to conceive naturally.

Dr Caron Forde did her undergraduate training at Flinders University in Adelaide. Flinders Uni had a new and innovative curriculum, which encouraged students to be involved in areas of interest to them. Within this framework, Dr Forde was involved in the IVF unit, in particular, laboratory based research. Because of this experience, Dr Forde developed her interest in obstetric and gynaecology.
After completing the Australian postgraduate qualification for Obstetrics and Gynaecology – F.R.A.C.O.G, Dr Forde took the opportunity to work overseas for a few years – in Ireland and England. During this time, she also completed the English postgraduate qualifications for Obstetrics and Gynaecology – F.R.C.O.G.
On returning to Australia, Dr Forde settled in Brisbane for family reasons. She developed a wide variety of interests in all aspect of the speciality. Working in both private and public practise, Dr Forde also became involved in teaching. She has held a number of positions – Senior Lecturer Uni of Qld, Senior Consultant at Mater Hospital, Training supervisor for Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetric and Gynaecology. Dr Forde is now an Examiner for the Australian college as well as the Australian Medical Council.
Dr Forde’s interest in infertility has continued since her student days. Over time, the treatments have become more streamlined and the outcomes more successful. Dr Forde enjoys being part of City Fertility where the individuals are cared for in a compassionate, patient orientated approach whilst achieving the best possible outcomes

DR AMANDA EVANS

Amanda was originally trained in Melbourne graduating in 1983. Internship and jrmo years were spent at Queen Victoria Hospital in Melbourne which was the hub of early IVF research and treatment ( Carl Wood"s unit residing for some time)
For the next decade Amanda worked in General Practice predominantly in womens health, reproductive medicine, contraception and other female hormonal areas, whilst producing her own family of 3 daughters.
She worked at the Jean Hailes institute, and Freemasons Womens health clinic and for some years headed up Family Planning Victoria as Medical Director and was involved in various research areas there, and during specialist training a research year producing a paper on Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators.
During her specialist training years Amanda worked at the Royal Womens Hospital and Monash Medical centre in Melbourne and completed training in queensland in 2001 at the Royal Womens Hospital .
Amanda has completed the advanced course in Laproscopic surgery in 2007 and offers treatments for endometriosis a common cause of infertility.
Amanda has continued to have an interest in female reproductive matters and infertility and is delighted to be part of the City Fertility Centre offering the latest technology and treatments for infertile couples.
