	DR ANDREW DAVIDSON MEDICAL DIRECTOR Andrew is an experienced generalist obstetrician-gynaecologist who has been in practice for 25 years. He obtained his medical degree at Sydney University and after graduation, trained in Sydney, Chelmsford and Bristol in England, and finally Townsville and Brisbane in Queensland. Andrew previously worked as a specialist in country NSW at Bathurst for 10 years and was involved in establishing an IVF unit in nearby Orange. Since moving to the Gold Coast 15 years ago he has worked mainly at John Flynn Hospital but also at Tweed Heads District and Robina Hospitals. He was instrumental in introducing water births as an accepted option for birthing women at JFH. Recently he has stopped delivering babies to concentrate on gynaecology and infertility. In May 2010 he accepted the position of Medical Director for City Fertility Centre Gold Coast and prior to that he was the Clinical Director since the Clinic began at John Flynn Hospital in 2004. In Andrew is also Medical Director of Stemlife, which is a company that collects and stores umbilical cord blood stem cells throughout Australia. Andrew consults at Robina as well as at John Flynn Private Hospital on Queensland’s famous Gold Coast. Andrew is married with 6 children. 	DR SHIRI DUTT CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Shiri is an Australian trained Obstetrician & Gynaecologist. He is in private practicein Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the John Flynn Private Hospital and provides infertility and IVF services from CFC–Gold Coast. He is also a visiting Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at the Tweed Heads Hospital. Shiri initially attained his obstetric experience working in the tertiary hospital in Fiji.A need for a formal training program prompted a move to New Zealand and then to Australia. 	DR BHARAT DOOLABH CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Dr Doolabh qualified as a doctor from the University of Birmingham in the UK and worked as an obstetrician and gynaecologist after qualifying as a specialist in London. Dr Doolabh spent 2 years working in the UK followed by 22 years in New Zealand and now 10 years in Australia. His practice is at John Flynn Hospital but Dr Doolabh also works at Tweed Hospital. His interest is in general obstetrics and gynaecology and also in infertility Dr Doolabh has one son and two daughters who are very accomplished. Dr Doolabh loves cars, travel, photography and cooking. 	DR GEOFF TRUEMAN CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Dr Geoff Trueman, MbChB, FRANZCOG Geoff is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He is based at the John Flynn Hospital, where he conducts private deliveries, and gynaecology surgery. He also works at the Tweed Heads Hospital, for public gynaecology, and on call for public obstetrics. He attained his primary medical degree in the UK in Manchester. He moved to Australia in 1988, and trained in Queensland for O&G, before finishing training in London and the UK for 3 years. He then spent 7 years as a specialist O&G, in Lismore, before moving back to the Gold Coast in 2006. His work is primarily Obstetrics, with interests in Laparoscopic and pelvic floor surgery, and IVF. He has had long term appointments as Director of O&G, both in Lismore and on the Gold Coast. 	DR NEIL WALLMAN CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Neil is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He was educated in Sydney and obtained his medical degree at Sydney University. He later trained at John Hunter Hospital in N.S.W. as well as in Sydney and Auckland. Neil has worked for 15 years in Gosford on the Central Coast of N.S.W. at both North Gosford Private Hospital and Gosford Public Hospital. During this time he also worked with Sydney IVF. Neil moved to the Gold Coast in mid 2009 as he has family on the Coast. He now works at John Flynn Private Hospital and has rooms in the medical centre. His main work interests are Obstetrics/IVF, pelvic floor problems and urine incontinence problems. Outside of work he enjoys time with the family, surfing and football. 	DR ALWYN DUNN CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Dr Dunn graduated from the University of Queensland in 1980 and completed his residency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital. He then spent 6 years in rural practice in Queensland including 4 years as a Medical Superintendant before returning to the Gold Coast Hospital where he spent 3 years working in Accident and Emergency and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He then completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Australian College with specific training interests in the areas of Tertiary Obstetrics and minimally invasive Endometriosis surgery. His initial consultancy work was with the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand before returning to work in Australia. Dr Dunn is in private practice in Benowa and has a Visiting Medical Officer appointment with the Gold Coast Hospital. 	DR PENELOPE ISHERWOOD CLINICAL ASSOCIATE Dr Penny Isherwood commenced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology after graduating from Leeds University in 1985. She spent several years at the IVF unit in St Mary's Hospital, Manchester, attaining membership of the Royal College of O+G (London) in 1988. She participated in the establishment of a second fertiltiy centre in Manchester and won the Annual British Fertility Society prize for her presentation of strategies of management for Frozen embryo replacement. Dr Isherwood commenced private practice on the Gold Coast in March 2000 and brings a wealth of expertise to the clinic and her special interests include pathology of the uterus, unexplained infertility and the psychology of infertility. 	TESS LAW Counsellor B. Psych (Hons)Assoc MAPS MGANZ AIMM Tess Law is a registered psychologist (Queensland) and a trained Gestalt psychotherapist. Tess holds a Bachelor of Psychology with first class honours and she has been awarded a number of academic prizes and scholarships, including the Griffith University Medal (1999) and the Australian Psychological Society Prize in Psychology (1999). Tess has been involved with Gestalt Therapy groups (both as participant and facilitator) since 1998. Tess left her lecturing position at Griffith University following the birth of her daughter in September 2002. In August 2004 Tess also commenced facilitation of a weekly support group for parents of special needs children at The Kumbari Avenue (Special) School, Southport. In addition, Tess currently teaches “Group Facilitation” and “Interpersonal Skills” in the School of Human Services, Griffith University. Tess has particular interest in the psychotherapeutic role of social and emotional support for women and men dealing with difficulties in conception, pregnancy, childbirth and beyond.
