On returning to Melbourne in 2002 Anne did a 12 month fellowship position in laparoscopic surgery at the Royal Women’s Hospital for the endometriosis unit. In 2003 Anne commenced a Doctor of Medicine degree through The University of Melbourne whilst working as a gynaecologist in the public system at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women. Anne's research is based at The Royal Women’s Hospital and is looking at the diagnosis of endometriosis.
