Undergoing fertility treatment is a major decision, and for this reason, we aim to provide you and your partner with as much information as possible, both prior to the treatment and throughout the treatment cycle. Your IVF Nurse coordinator will give you a copy of various handbooks that should be read carefully, in order for you to make an informed decision.
The Centre was established in 2006 to offer infertile individuals access to the most advanced medical diagnosis and treatment options available. Under the direction of our co-founders Adnan Catakovic, Dr Ashish Das, and Dr David Wilkinson, we continue this commitment by actively participating in research projects that investigate new fertility medications and treatments to improve your chances of a successful conception. City Fertility Clinic has also pioneered the use of Embryo Glue™ in Australia. We are proud to have achieved the first Embryo Glue™ pregnancy in Australia.

If you are having difficulty getting pregnant, it's important to know that you are not alone. We often meet individuals and couples who feel like they don't have enough information, or suspect its been taking a little too long to get pregnant. We also meet couples who have been doing all of the right things and just need a little reinforcement.
We want to highlight that it is natural to have questions, and it is reasonable to seek help if you think there's a chance your fertility may not be what it could be. Our goal is to help couples conceive by providing a high quality service in a caring, compassionate and supportive environment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON VICTORIAN LEGISLATION - FOR ALL PATIENTS
The Assisted Reproductive Treatment
Act 2008 will come into effect on 1st January 2010. In order for you to
access ANY form of IVF treatment in Victoria as of this date both you
and your partner must provide City Fertility Centre with a Criminal
Record Check and a completed application form for a Child Protection
Order Check prior to beginning or continuing your treatment. All the
information you require, including the Child Protection Order Check
application forms are available at www.health.vic.gov.au/art. and the Criminal Record Check application forms can be found at www.police.vic.gov.au. Before completing
these forms, please contact us on 1300 781 483 to enable us to go
through the correct procedure of how to complete these specific police
checks and child protection orders.
