New Doctor Joins CFC Sunnybank

Success and demand for fertility services have driven the expansion of City Fertility Centre (CFC) clinics recently, leading to the new appointment of Dr Andrew Ansari at CFC’s Sunnybank clinic.

Dr Ansari (MBBS, FRCS, MRCOG, FRANZCOG) began practising in Brisbane on March 1, 2011. He trained at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, completing his postgraduate training at Bristol’s St Michael’s University Hospital.

He has had extensive experience in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, including high-risk obstetrics. He will provide antenatal and postnatal care in his rooms and intrapartum (labour) care at Sunnybank Private Hospital.

Dr Ansari provides general gynecology services with a minimally invasive approach. He has a particular interest in the laparoscopic management of endometriosis and fertility treatment, including IVF.

At Sunnybank Hospital he has been instrumental in setting up outpatient endoscopy for the assessment of abnormal bleeding. This service is available weekly and patients can be seen and assessed urgently.

Dr Ansari also has a special interest in pelvic floor and continence surgery. He is providing a weekly urodynamics investigation clinic at Sunnybank Private Hospital. Waiting times for this service are minimal and there will be no cost gap. If required, flexible cystoscopy can be performed at the time of urodynamics.

Dr Ansari is looking forward to providing patients with a personalised, caring and supportive service, with minimal waiting times for appointments and procedures.

All urodynamics, operative and diagnostic surgical procedure fees charged will be “no gap” and bulk-billed.

Dr Ansari’s consulting rooms are at Suite 213a Times Square, 250 McCullough St, Sunnybank, and The Hub Complex, 2 Rickey Street, Capalaba. He can be contacted directly on (07) 3423 8916 or by email at doctor.andrew@bigpond.com.
