Plan Early for Becoming A Mum

Plan Early for Becoming A Mum

News of celebrities who have decided to “go parenting alone’’ because they have been unable to find a suitable life partner has raised eyebrows recently.

According to City Fertility Centre, a woman’s decision to seek fertility advice once she realises her biological clock is ticking is a personal one and often a sensible step to take.

Any woman who wants to fall pregnant and is either past the optimal age group of 25-35 or has been unable to conceive after trying for a year (6 months if over 35) should understand her options.

Planning ahead is definitely the right thing to do because, as with all family planning, things take time. Don’t wait until you are over 40 to seek advice from a fertility specialist.
