Dr Freeman graduated from the Istanbul Medical Faculty in Turkey and completed his postgraduate training at the same faculty in 1993. After moving to Australia in 1995, he completed a further three years’ advance training before gaining his Australian fellowship in 1999.
Dr Freeman has a great depth of experience in obstetrics, fertility and gynaecology. He worked as a consultant for two years in Turkey and after moving to Australia spent one year as a fellow in the IVF and Infertility Unit at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Before setting up his practice at North West Medical Centre, Dr Freeman worked as staff specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at Redcliffe Hospital for four years, which followed four years as a visiting medical officer in Melbourne. Over the past eight years, he has been teaching, conducting research and developing protocols.
