Dr Behnia-Willison obtained her medical degree in Germany in 1995 and completed her Master of Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons. She then went on to complete her specialist training at the Royal Hospital for Women (Sydney) in 2004 and advanced training in prolapse, incontinence and urodynamics at the Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia, in 2008.
Dr Behnia-Willison is a pioneer in minimally invasive surgery in Australia, with focus on Single-Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS). Her other core areas of interest include: pelvic pain, endometriosis, infertility, heavy periods, fibroids, post-menopausal bleeding, ovarian cysts, prolapse and incontinence, namely urodynamics.
She treats couples and individuals in all aspects of fertility, from evaluation to treatment. Dr Behnia-Willison also offers treatments for sexual enhancement.
She is well known for her warm, friendly and caring approach towards her patients and believes in giving them the same respect and compassion she would give her own family.
