Regardless of your level of treatment, our hassle-free systems will make accessing our services easier on your finances.

You can simply select the option that suits your financial situation or personal preference. Our flexibility ensures everyone is catered for, whether you favour a full upfront payment or systematic instalments. Our aim is to give you choices that overcome financial barriers to treatment.

Payment options available are:

No up-front payment plan

Our no up-front payment plan is our most popular option. It is a flexible system that allows you to start your IVF cycle, with payment delayed until the day of egg collection. On that day, an online claim is submitted to Medicare, resulting in rebates being paid within 3-5 business days.

Medicare Online claiming is available at all City Fertility clinics. This is a secure and convenient way to claim your rebate without having to visit a Medicare office.

To access this payment option, a credit card authorisation form must be completed prior to the commencement of the cycle.  This authorisation form gives City Fertility permission to deduct City Fertility fees on the day of egg collection.  The credit card must be valid and have a credit limit that covers the full cost of treatment.

This payment option is not available for Medicare-ineligible cycles.

Flexible financial plans

City Fertility is happy to introduce 

MacCredit is a broker that provides credit assistance and payment plan options tailored to your needs, requirements and objectives. It specialises in offering suitable, flexible payment plans for various treatments including cosmetic, medical and dental procedures that start from $4,000, and services over 20,000 patients in Australia every year. MacCredit will review your situation and select the best payment plan to help you meet the costs of your IVF procedure.

The application process is streamlined so you can move forward with your treatment sooner rather than later.

Full up-front payment

This option requires the full City Fertility fee to be paid up-front on or before the first day of your cycle starting. This method of payment is available for all cycle types and procedures. The first day that an online claim can be submitted to Medicare is on the day of egg collection.

Instalment payment plan

This payment option allows you to pay a designated amount on or before the first day of starting your cycle. The balance of your fees is payable on the day of egg collection and will be deducted from your nominated credit card.

To access this payment option, a credit card authorisation form must be completed prior to the commencement of the cycle.  This authorisation form gives City Fertility permission to deduct the remaining City Fertility fees on the day of egg collection.  If you wish to pay the remaining fee via a method other than credit card, please contact the clinic at least two days before egg collection to arrange it. Please check with patient services for the current designated instalment amount.

Direct debit/credit payment plan

This payment option allows patients to make a direct debit/credit into City Fertility’s bank account. If patients wish to use this option, full payment would need to be received into City Fertility’s bank account before egg collection.  If direct debit/credit were to be made after the commencement of the patient’s cycle a credit card authorisation form would need to be completed prior to or on the day of commencing the cycle as a form of security.  The credit card is not deducted unless payment is not received by the date of egg collection.

If paying via direct debit/credit it is vital that you put your Full Name in the description/reference section so we are able to allocate the payment to you.  We do not recommend a cash transfer through your local bank as often the reference section is not noted, making it difficult for us to identify you as the payee.  Please contact patient services for City Fertility’s bank account details.

Accessing Superannuation

City Fertility is happy to introduce SuperCare. SuperCare is an external service provider based on an Australian Government initiative to assist individuals and their families access their superannuation to cover medical costs.

The SuperCare IVF Services Team can facilitate the funding required for various treatments, including:

  • IVF
  • Donor sperm
  • Donor eggs
  • Egg freezing
  • Endometriosis
  • Obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Women’s health

Accessing your superannuation for IVF-related treatment is an individual choice.

SuperCare’s primary goal is to help create and support families by relieving the financial stress and tension that may occur when undergoing fertility treatment.
