Dr Jennifer Pontré is a caring fertility specialist and gynaecologist who is passionate about supporting patients through every step of their fertility journey. She provides personalised care across IVF, fertility treatment and fertility preservation, with a special interest in endometriosis and additional training in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
She graduated with Honours in Medicine from the University of Western Australia and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). She went on to complete a two-year advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship accredited by the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Society, followed by further surgical training in Dublin, Ireland. Dr Pontré also holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales, awarded with Excellence, and in 2020 was granted a Winston Churchill Fellowship to study international best practice in endometriosis management.
Her special interests include endometriosis, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, fibroids, pelvic pain, and complex laparoscopic surgery. She holds a specialist appointment in the Endoscopy Unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital, where she is actively involved in teaching, research, and clinical work. In private practice, she consults at Hollywood Private Hospital.
