Dr Pooi Leng Lee offers caring, personalised support throughout your entire fertility journey, from IVF and fertility treatment to pregnancy, delivery, and beyond. She works closely with you to develop a treatment plan that’s tailored to your needs, ensuring continuity of care every step of the way.
Her areas of expertise include obstetrics, gynaecology, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, and IVF/fertility care. After earning her honours medical degree from Trinity College, University of Dublin (June 2002), Dr Lee completed her internship at one of Dublin’s largest tertiary teaching hospitals before relocating to Australia in 2003. She began her obstetrics and gynaecology specialist training in 2007 and, during her extensive training in Queensland, worked at Logan, Mater Mothers’, and Rockhampton hospitals.
Dr Lee is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Her obstetric care includes general and high-risk pregnancy management, labour, and postnatal support.
In gynaecology, she provides compassionate care for menstrual disorders, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility assessments and treatment, pelvic pain, abnormal Pap smears, incontinence, menopause, and performs advanced laparoscopic surgery for benign conditions.
Dr Lee is known for her non-judgmental, supportive style, guiding you with empathy through every part of your journey and tailoring everything specifically to your needs for the best possible outcome. Born and raised in Malaysia, she brings a multicultural perspective to her practice and ensures language isn’t a barrier by speaking both Mandarin and Cantonese.
