Proudly part of the City Fertility Network
Nutrition is a key component of reproduction and pregnancy. The sperm, egg, hormones and uterus need to be healthy to initiate and maintain a pregnancy to full term. There is a constant requirement for nutrients at each stage of reproduction, and the best source is food. Supplementation can be useful if meeting these nutritional requirements is compromised in any way.
City Fertility is affiliated with several accredited dietitians who can provide you with dietary and nutritional advice.
Balanced nutrition plays a central role in fertility health. Research shows that dietary choices can influence ovulation, hormone balance, and even embryo development. Maintaining a healthy weight and eating nutrient-rich foods can also improve IVF outcomes.
Our affiliated dietitians focus on practical, achievable changes to optimise fertility and overall wellbeing.
