Dr Eleanor Egan

Dr Eleanor Egan is a warm and dedicated fertility specialist who uses her breadth of experience to support her patients on every step of their journey.

Dr Egan works primarily in:

Attentive and caring, Dr Egan provides an individualised and holistic approach to patient care to help you achieve your fertility goals. Her passion for helping her patients achieve their dreams of parenthood is reflected in her exceptional patient care.

Dr Eleanor Egan completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2005 before undertaking specialist training as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne.

In 2014 she undertook further specialised training in fertility and IVF as a fellow in the Reproductive Services Unit and earned a Masters in Reproductive Medicine (with excellence). From 2014 until 2021, Dr Egan ran a busy private practice as an obstetrician and fertility specialist before returning to QLD to be closer to family.

Dr Egan is proud to offer seamless care across the full fertility spectrum, holding a particular interest in cases of recurrent miscarriage, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and medical disorders that may affect pregnancy. She also provides all aspects of single and LGBTI+ fertility treatment, from donor cycles (eggs, sperm and embryos) to partner IVF.

To help bridge the gap between fertility and obstetric care, Dr Egan can provide additional support through early pregnancy.
