Wrapping up a year of hope, growth and achievement

City Fertility clinic news

As 2019 comes to a close we reflect on the year that has been and realise that for City Fertility it has been a year full of hope, growth and achievement.

Hope

This year City Fertility reached the milestone of helping bring 6,363 babies into the world. Without our wonderful patients placing their hope in us to help them achieve their dreams, this would never have been possible. On the flip side, our doctors and staff are constantly full of hope working hard both in-front and behind the scenes to help our patients achieve a successful pregnancy.

Growth

In 2019 we launched Chill – our dedicated egg freezing service to give women future fertility options. As more Australian women are now leaving motherhood until later in life when fertility is declining, Chill provides a cost-effective way for women to be empowered regarding their future fertility.

We opened our first ever clinic in Sydney’s CBD. This new clinic located at Circular Quay is led by a powerhouse of specialists and exceptional scientists, has world-class laboratories and a day hospital, and all for one specific purpose – to help more Australians experience the joy of parenthood.

We also opened our first-ever day hospital – Gateway Day Hospital. Created with a vision to provide patients with convenient, all-inclusive healthcare services in one central and exclusive location, Gateway Day Hospital brings together highly regarded specialists, scientists and support staff to provide you with premium care and services.

Over the year, we have welcomed 4 new specialists to our team across the country – Dr Devora Lieberman, Dr Helen Peric, Dr Dean Conrad and Dr Jamie Friebe. Our specialists are carefully selected, highly skilled and dedicated to helping our patients overcome obstacles to achieve their dreams.

Achievement

While City Fertility turned 16 this year, Sunnybank, our second ever clinic to open reached its 10th birthday milestone. To coincide with its 10th year they moved into a new clinic featuring the latest in IVF service design, with a four-stage laboratory air filtration system, on-site procedure centre, and state-of-the-art laboratory.

So as 2019 comes to a close we hope you can also reflect on the year as one of hope, growth and achievement. As the famous author, Helen Keller said “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.” Whatever path you are on, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
